What is the best compact digital camera for solar system astrophotography? - best compact digital camera

(A lightweight (under 12 oz) compact digital camera * not * DSLR) manual with manual focus settings, 2-3 second self-timer, low noise at ISO 400, at least 5.6 million pixels. Some Zoom 3x or 4x or higher. AA battery. Camera used for afocal imaging.

Other preferences, but not absolutely necessary. Good sensitivity red (for H-alpha solar image). A light bulb "scenario of prolonged exposure or display of choice for several minutes. Again, this is not necessarily required, but helpful / useful.

The Fuji S 7000 consists of the following shutter speeds:
15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4 seconds.
Can be interpolated to 12 megapixels of 6 megapixels.
It has a 55mm filter ring, and installation manual.
It requires a circular polarizing filter, you use that exhibit because of the polarization of the sensor.
The lens is a Fujinon Super EBC 6x optical zoom. + 3.2 Digital Zoom
The ISO has this feature:
• Auto (ISO 160 - 800)
• ISO 200
• ISO 400
• ISO 800 (3, 2 or only 1 MP)

I have not tried with astronomical photography. I like.
Good luck. I think the Coolpix is a good brand to check out. My camera is old. I am sure that there are now better FinePix ...
,-D Astrophotography happy!
