Other preferences, but not absolutely necessary. Good sensitivity red (for H-alpha solar image). A light bulb "scenario of prolonged exposure or display of choice for several minutes. Again, this is not necessarily required, but helpful / useful.

Find the Canon 20Da. Yes, it is a digital SLR camera. 20D a plant at a time ... is order for good in astrophotography. I assume it will fan sites with excellent advice for compact cameras, too!
The Fuji S 7000 consists of the following shutter speeds:
15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4 seconds.
Can be interpolated to 12 megapixels of 6 megapixels.
It has a 55mm filter ring, and installation manual.
It requires a circular polarizing filter, you use that exhibit because of the polarization of the sensor.
The lens is a Fujinon Super EBC 6x optical zoom. + 3.2 Digital Zoom
The ISO has this feature:
• Auto (ISO 160 - 800)
• ISO 200
• ISO 400
• ISO 800 (3, 2 or only 1 MP)
I have not tried with astronomical photography. I like.
